Reflecting on Portt's First Year: A Journey of Resilience, Community, and Support
As Portt celebrates its first anniversary, we're filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement for what lies ahead. In just one year, we’ve worked alongside inspiring organizations, launched meaningful products, and built connections that remind us why we started Portt in the first place—to support, uplift, and bring comfort to those navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Here’s a look back at all that we’ve accomplished in our first year, thanks to the unwavering support of our community.
Giving Back to Those Who Inspire Us
At the heart of Portt is a commitment to giving back. We’ve been honored to support organizations like Thriving Beyond Breast Cancer, The Breasties, Well Beyond Breast Cancer, Bloom Club, and Brighter Magazine. These partnerships allow us to extend our mission and make a direct impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. Through these donations, we’re contributing to advocacy, education, and support networks that are essential for so many people facing cancer diagnoses.
One highlight of the year was attending Camp Breastie, where we connected face-to-face with an inspiring community of survivors and thrivers, who reminded us of the strength, resilience, and love that this community holds. It was a beautiful moment for Portt to not only support but stand in solidarity with those who are making a difference.
Building a Product Line With Purpose
This year, we launched a range of products designed with comfort, functionality, and style in mind, all aimed at making life a bit easier for those on a health journey. Our collection now includes two styles of port-access tops in three colors, designed to provide easy access and comfort during treatments. We also launched three styles of socks, a soft and supportive accessory that brings a pop of color to everyday wear. To add a little extra Portt flair, we introduced enamel pins and bandanas in two colors, both perfect for showing support or adding a little encouragement to any outfit.
Our product line extends beyond clothing and accessories, with care packages and versatile bags that make thoughtful gifts for loved ones going through treatment or recovery. These care packages have been designed to bring comfort and show loved ones that they are not alone on their journey.
Partnering With Inspiring Ambassadors and Advocates
We know that community is everything, which is why we’re proud to have partnered with six incredible ambassadors this year. These individuals embody Portt’s spirit of resilience and hope, helping to spread our message and reach more people who may benefit from our products. Alongside our ambassadors, we’re continuously inspired by the many advocates who share their stories and courageously help break down the stigma surrounding illness. Having the honor of partnering with folks like Elissa Kalver of We Got This and Meadow to join forces with such incredible organizations and brands to help continue creating space and products for survivors has been beyond fulfilling.
In addition, we launched custom merchandise for these partnerships, creating unique items that align with each advocate’s story and the communities they support. It’s our way of amplifying their voices and making a tangible difference in the causes they care about most.
Supporting Events That Empower and Inspire
From our commitment to community support, we’ve had the privilege of providing products for the Lion-ess Retreat and other events that focus on empowerment, healing, and self-care. These experiences offer safe spaces where individuals can connect, learn, and find strength together. We’re honored to play a part in such meaningful gatherings, offering items that bring comfort and convenience to attendees.

Our first year has been an incredible journey, and it’s only the beginning. As we move into the future, we’re more committed than ever to expanding our product line, building new partnerships, and continuing our mission to support, comfort, and uplift our community.
